Inverters – for the transformation of DC to AC current
Inverters are part of the complex family of power converters being able to transform direct current DC to alternating current AC. Basically speaking these modules are used for applications where eletronic devices based on AC current operation are linked to DC power supplies. Solar panels applying power into the mains supply are fitted with these kind of systems. Hydro and Wind power stations commonly have these modules installed.
The most common use in production facilities for this type of module lies in the field of driving automation. Inverters are mainly installed for the motor actuated rev control in asynchronous transmissions. Being part of frequency converters these inverter modules provide the system attached with the requested frequences within the AC current output especially in the modulation of pulses in order to provide higher capacity for electrical motors reducing the consumption of energy at the same time. The energy inflicted during the putting on of the brakes of the engine is fed back into the system with the help of these inverter modules.

Repairs of inverters
In the field of driving automation EICHLER offers a large variety of repair and maintenance for inverters. Numerous kinds of make such as Siemens, SEW, Lenze, Danfoss, Bosch, ABB - amongst many others - can be serviced at our works. Especially discontinued types of inverters cause a much larger investion in costs towards having to migrate this system compared to an expert repair.

The experts at EICHLER constantly monitor the market in order to respond to discontinuations according to the individual manufacturers. Due to our contacts world-wide we are even able to provide you with monitors discontinued long ago. Every component we quote is refurbished completely at our Electronic-Service-Centre according to standardized proceedures and finally tested under full capacity with the help of specially designed test racks. Each item purchased, be it new or refurbished, is fitted out with a 24 months minimum warranty

To be able to offer you a large variety of current and discontinued devices EICHLER manages an own stock level of over 30.000 components. This enables us to service you with the necessary module as very short notice – even in case of a breakdown in your system.

Every module you purchase at EICHLER is fully tested on all relevant functions before it leaves our works. The combination of highly experienced staff together with our specific Trial- and Testracks give you the necessary safety on the purchase of refurbished automation equipment.
Warranty included
Full trial runs give you the guarantee of the highest possible level on repair service and function of the part sent to us. The item returned to is fitted with a 24 months warranty. If you wish to have an optional test of all parameters we are able to extend this warranty up to 36 months.
